GIVING TREES - Every year, North Mason residents and businesses give generously to the various "Giving Trees" placed around town. Children in need of a brighter Christmas have their assigned identification number and three fondest wishes placed on a tag, which in turn, hangs from one of the trees. Individuals and business representatives can pluck a tag from the tree and go shopping for a special little boy or girl, then return the presents unwrapped to the tree. Giving Trees and tags will be placed beginning November 13 at the Peninsula Community Federal Credit Union, Kitsap Bank in Allyn and Belfair, Olympia Federal Savings, American Marine Bank and Kitsap Credit Union. On Saturday, December 19, preregistered families will pick up gifts along with a food basket at the Belfair Elementary School Gym from 9 am to 2pm.

SENIOR ANGEL PROGRAM - Sponsored by Faith in Action - Come by the Faith in Action Thrift Store on Old Belfair Highway to choose a "senior angel" from our Christmas tree. Each angel lists a specific requested gift for one of our seniors. Or perhaps you'd care to bring us some homemade goodies that we can distribute to our folks. These can be things like homemade afghans, cookies, candies, ornaments, or ? Another way to help our seniors for the holidays is to buy one or more gift cards of at least $20 from local merchants. Please bring gift cards to the thrift store or mail to PO Box 2697, Belfair, WA.

FOOD DRIVE - Sponsored by NM Rotary Club - Bins will be located in local businesses for food donations.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!
