Frank Kenny, North Mason Chamber's President/CEO, will be presenting at the Washington State Chamber of Commerce Executives (WCCE) Annual Conference on Thursday, October 29th in Olympia.

The conference attracts hundreds of chamber executives, staff, and board members from the 200 plus Chambers of Commerce in Washington State. Kenny, as a featured speaker, will have an hour and half to present on "Growing Your Organization with Internet Social Networking." WCCE is the professional development association for Washington State Chamber professionals and their staff. For over 50 years, WCCE has been the leader in bringing information, resources and support to its members.

The North Mason Chamber has grown its membership from 210 in April 2008 to 415 as of October 22, 2009. That is better than 95% membership growth in only 18 months, making the North Mason Chamber one of the larger business organizations on the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Kenny attributes much of this growth to the Chamber's early adoption of Internet social networking. Kenny was also recently named to the Executive Board of the Association of Washington Business (AWB), serving as the Chair of the Chamber Division. The Chamber Division represents all of the State's Chambers of Commerce to the AWB. The AWB is the state's Chamber of Commerce, representing over 6,000 member businesses.

Kenny is also scheduled to speak at two regional conferences: the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) Annual Conference in San Francisco in February 2010 and the Northwest Chamber Leaders Conference in Coeur d'Alene in March 2010.

Concerning the speaking engagements, he said, "This growth and success for our Chamber could not have happened without our first rate Board of Trustees. They are visionary in their thinking, willing to take risks, are team players, and they set high goals for themselves and staff. I am honored to work for them and the members. Everything we do comes back to our four core functions of promoting the community, creating networking opportunities, advocating for our members and contributing to the local economy. Our growth in membership and budget allows us to do every one of these core functions better. You can thank the volunteer Board of Trustees for that."
