Belfair Farmers Insurance to Host Relay for Life Fundraiser

Bowling anyone? Cassandra "Casey" Hoffman and her staff at the Belfair Farmers Insurance office have a Relay for Life team which they call "Farmer's Fresh Start." The team was formed in 2007 and inspired by Casey's office manager, Teri Young, a cancer survivor. Members of the Farmer's Fresh Start Relay team have a goal of raising $3,000.00 this year to donate to the American Cancer Society. The team has been actively holding events and raffling baskets to raise money to reach this goal before the Relay for Life event, set for Friday and Saturday, June 13 and 14 at the North Mason High School track. The next opportunity to help this hard working team meet their goal will be on Saturday evening, May 17. Join Casey and her other team members at the All-Star Lanes bowling alley in Silverdale from 8:30 to 11pm for a classic "Rock and Bowl" night of fun. Cost is only 20$ per person and includes shoes and two hours of bowling! All proceeds from this event will benefit the North Mason Relay for Life. Casey says, "We also have prizes for bowlers and some fun raffles!"
At the last Rock and Bowl hosted by Farmer's Fresh Start and held in March, 30 people showed up and the team raised over $600. One last note, if you don't have time to come and bowl, you can sponsor someone else who would like to go, but can't afford it. Any donations are welcome as well. For more information about the bowling event or the Farmer's Fresh Start Relay team, please call Casey at 275-2829. Thank you and hope to see you there!
