Jack Nicklaus, chair of the North Mason Chamber Education Committee, has announced that the committee will meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at noon at Jimmy D's restaurant in Belfair. Any chamber member is welcome and invited to join this committee.

Activities of the NM Chamber Education Committee may include:

OCTOBER - Institute a Job-Shadowing program for NMHS students. Students would attend work with a sponsor from 7:30 to 11:30am on 4th Wednesday, followed by attendance at the monthly Chamber membership luncheon for introductions.

JANUARY - Camp scholarships for Belfair/Sand Hill Elementary Schools - seek donors for 5th grade camp.

FEBRUARY - NMHS Grad Night fundraising - invite represenatatives to speak at chamber luncheon.

MARCH - Assist with senior presentations at NMHS.

APRIL - Select chamber scholarship winners, Dollars for Scholars program participation.

TBD - Mock interviews at NMHS.

TBD - Career Day at HMS.
