This month's membership luncheon will feature Representative Kathy Haigh and Senator Tim Sheldon with a recap of the 2008 legislative session and a forecast of the 2009 session. Please come hear these 35th district elected officials as they discuss issues important to the business community. During the legislative session, the Chamber's Gov't Affairs committee, chaired by Tim Wing, hosts conference calls with our elected officials and the Association of Washington Business. This is your chance to get up to speed on what our elected representatives are working on and to find out if legislation is coming down the pike that could affect your business or organization.

The North Mason Chamber of Commerce holds a regular monthly luncheon meeting, often with a featured speaker on the fourth Wednesday of every month at Theler Community Center in Belfair. The Shop Local winner for each month is drawn and announced at this meeting. Winners need not be present to win.

Come mix and mingle at the luncheon with fellow business people and customers. We start networking at 11:30 and begin to announce attending businesses and organizations about 11:45. This is your chance to tell the community your news or announcements. If you are trying to get the word out about your business, this networking event is the best showcase in town.

Lunch is $8 per person. Networking begins at 11:30 and lunch is served at noon. The program concludes at 1:00pm.
