Frank will be happy to sign you up! Below is an invitation to all North Mason businesses to participate in the Shop Local program:

Dear Chamber Member and Shop Local participant,

To make the Shop Local program even more successful, the committee is making some dramatic improvements. Briefly, here is how the new program works:

Program changed to a Rewards card rather than a Discount card
Rewards cards will be produced in quantity and distributed widely.
Customers are required to get 5 "proof of visiting" signatures or initials on their Rewards card by visiting participating Shop Local businesses.
Once a customer has the 5 Shop Local participating businesses signatures, the card becomes a free entry into a monthly drawing for $100.00 gift certificate. You can either collect the entries or the customer can drop them off at the Chamber.
The drawing takes place during the monthly chamber luncheon.
If the winner uses a $100.00 gift certificate in your business, the chamber will reimburse you the $100.00 out of the Shop Local program.
A North Mason Beautification Fund has been created through the Shop Local program. 10% of Shop Local money raised goes towards North Mason beautification efforts.
This new program should drive new customers to your business because the customers must get signatures from participating Shop Local businesses.
To be a participating Shop Local business only requires a $50.00 annual investment (10% of which goes to the North Mason beautification fund).
You have the option to have 2,000 promotional bag stuffers with your logo and your coupon distributed around North Mason for just $200.00 and your $50 participation fee is waved for choosing this option and renewing at this time. Promotional activities will include local media articles, the bag stuffers (10,000 already pre-sold), press releases, free POS counter displays, Shop Local cards listing all participants, media advertising, and Chamber support such as Ebiz email news blasts and announcements at monthly luncheon and Chamber events.

The committee anticipates updating the program quarterly (i.e. Spring focus, Summer Tourist focus, Fall focus, Christmas Focus). This program is evolving and improving. Thank you for participating. Please call Frank at 275-4267 with questions.
